These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Plan B Solution Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in Nepal with its office at Nagarjun-6, Kathmandu ("IELTS Lite", "we", "us", or "the Company"), and they govern your access to and use of the IELTS Lite website, applications, and services (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account, signing in (including through Google), or submitting any payment, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who may use the Platform
You must be at least 16 years old, or have the consent of a parent, guardian, or sponsoring institution, to use the Platform. If you are using IELTS Lite on behalf of an institution, you represent that you are authorised to bind that institution to these Terms. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your login credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect misuse.
2. What the Platform does
IELTS Lite is an independent, AI-assisted preparation platform. It provides practice materials, mock tests across Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening, automated feedback, and progress analytics intended to help you prepare for English-language assessments. The Platform is a study aid only. It is not an official test, and the band estimates and feedback it produces are practice indicators generated by automated models — they are not official scores and do not predict or guarantee any result on an official examination. Please read our Affiliation & Trademark Disclaimer.
3. Your account and access
Access to paid features requires either a valid subscription purchased through our supported payment methods or access granted to you by a partner institution. Some accounts are created and activated by our team or by a partner institution on your behalf. Access is personal to you; you may not share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your account or its contents to anyone else.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Platform lawfully and fairly. In particular, you must not copy, scrape, harvest, or redistribute our test content; attempt to reverse-engineer or probe our systems; share credentials or circumvent access controls; upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful material; or interfere with the Platform's operation or other users. Our full Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into these Terms.
5. Payments, billing, and refunds
Prices are shown in Nepalese Rupees and are payable through our supported gateways or via manually reviewed payment confirmations. Manual confirmations may take up to 24 hours to verify. Because the Platform delivers digital content and incurs real computational cost the moment evaluation runs, access is generally non-refundable once activated and used, except as set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy or as required by applicable law.
6. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its software, content, question banks, design, and branding (other than third-party marks referenced for descriptive purposes), is owned by the Company or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for your own preparation. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Content you submit (such as essays and spoken responses) remains yours; you grant us the limited rights described in our Privacy Policy so we can evaluate it and operate the service.
7. Third-party services and availability
The Platform is delivered using reputable third-party cloud infrastructure, hosting, content-delivery, payment, and AI-processing providers. We work to keep the Platform available and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we are not responsible for disruptions caused by third-party providers, networks, or events outside our reasonable control. Availability targets for institute partners are described in our Service Level Commitment.
8. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of automated feedback. AI- generated band estimates and corrections are inherently approximate and may contain errors; you should not rely on them as a substitute for professional instruction or an official assessment.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits, or opportunities, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Platform. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required for security or legal reasons, or if a payment is reversed or remains unverified. On termination, your right to use the Platform ends, though sections intended to survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You and the Company agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kathmandu, Nepal for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform.
